learning that furthers the understanding and reveals the history, exposes the beauty, and discovers the mystery
and magnetism that is the American southwest. |

Welcome to the National Museum of the American Southwest
|
The Gallegos Institute along with the The National Museum of The American Southwest and the Jesus M Casaus house, is an independent,
charitable nonprofit educational institution, dedicated to the American Southwest. The museum and research center located in Santa
Rosa, New Mexico, will reveal the History, expose the Beauty, examine the mystery and legends and discover the culture and magnetism
that is the American Southwest. Our research will encompasses all of New Mexico and Arizona, and the southern third of Colorado and
Utah.
The Museum will also sell Southwestern art by people who live in the southwest, gifts and clothing made in the southwest, food items
to taste the southwest, and momentos to remind you of the southwest. All the products will be available at the museum gift shop and
at The Southwest Shop online.
The Jesus M Casaus House is scheduled to open in early summer 2014 and The National Museum of the American Southwest is scheduled to
open early summer 2015.
